Day 1 : Paro Airport - Thimphu (65 km / 2 hours)

After you arrive at the Paro Airport, you will be transferred to Thimphu, the capital city. On your arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel. Spend a pleasant night at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing

Today, you will visit the various tourist attractions in Thimphu. After a delicious breakfast, visit the Tashichho Dzong, which houses the throne room of the king of Bhutan. Then, proceed to the National Memorial Chorten, also known as Thimphu Chorten, is a religious structure. After this, you will visit the beautiful Changangkha Monastery, which was established in the 12th century. Then, head to the National Zoo of Bhutan, which is famous for housing the Takin, the national animal. You will then proceed to the National Library, which has a wide collection of the holy scripts of Buddhism. Head to the Buddha Point in the evening, where you can admire the huge statue of the Buddha. Have a pleasant overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3 : Thimphu Punakha / Wangdue Sightseeing (77 km / 3 hours)

After a scrumptious breakfast, drive to Punakha / Wangdue Phodrang via the Dochula Pass. Continue towards Punakha and visit the Buddhist monastery of Chimi Lhakhang, which was built in the 15th century. Also visit the Punakha Dzong, which is the administrative centre of the district and is located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. On arrival in Punakha, check in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. retire for the night in Punakha.

Day 4 : Punakha - Paro (140 km / 5 hours)

Today, you will be visiting the Ta Dzong, which was earlier a fortified lookout tower and is now converted into the National Museum. Then walk down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong, a very large Buddhist fortress and monastery. Next visit Kichu Lhakhang, which is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. From here, you will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in the early 17th century to celebrate Bhutan's victory against Tibetan invaders. You will also be visiting the Simtokha Dzong, which is a 16-century monastery. On a clear day, you can see Mount Jomolhari. The evening is free for spending at leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay in Paro.

Day 5 : Paro Tigner's Nest

Relish a tasty breakfast and then proceed for a hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is the most popular monastery and a sacred Buddhist site in Bhutan. It is perched stunningly over the edge of a cliff above the Paro Valley. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 6 : Paro Airport

After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Paro Airport for your journey back home.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

30 days & prior to arrival – 10% of the tour/service cost.
20 days to 18 days prior to arrival – 20% of the tour/service cost.
14 days to 16 days prior to arrival – 25% of the tour/service cost.
10 days to 08 days prior to arrival – 50% of the tour/service cost.
07 days & less, prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund. Refund

In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
